Cambo is an oil and gas field located offshore the Shetland Islands, Scotland, in the UK Continental Shelf. Siccar Point Energy, a leading exploration and production company, holds a 70% stake and operates the project, with the remaining 30% owned by Royal Dutch Shell. Originally slated for a final investment decision in 2020, the project faced a delay to the second half of 2021 due to global economic challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our Key Contractors
FPSO Design
Sembcorp Marine Rigs & Floaters was awarded the FEED contract for the Sevan cylindrical FPSO, with KBR subcontracted for topsides design and integration support.
Well and Pipeline FEED
Baker Hughes (BHGE) handles FEED work for wells, subsea, and riser systems, while Genesis manages the FEED for the gas export pipeline.
Subsea Production Equipment
BHGE is contracted to supply and install subsea production equipment, with the possibility of an extension to full field development.
Construction Support
Ocean Installer deploys construction support vessels for offshore works.
Environmental Consultancy
Fugro GB Marine provides environmental consultancy services for the Cambo field development project.
